Major League Soccer (MLS) is the top soccer league in the United States in the American Soccer Pyramid. It is sanctioned by the professional division of the United States Soccer Federation (USSF or U.S. Soccer), which is a member of FIFA. As of 2007, it will also include Canada with the addition of a team from Toronto, Ontario.

La Liga - football league in Spain
Liga de F�tbol Profesional, commonly known as La Liga or Primera Liga, is the professional football league in Spain and is widely regarded as one of the best leagues in the world. Nine clubs have been crowned Campeones de Liga. Since the 1950s, Real Madrid and FC Barcelona have dominated the competition. The former have been champions 29 times while the latter have won it on 18 occasions. However during the 1930s and 1940s and in more recent seasons, La Liga has been more competitive. Other winners include Atl�tico Madrid, Athletic Bilbao, Valencia CF, Real Sociedad, Real Betis, Deportivo de La Coru�a and Sevilla FC. La Liga also boasts the most successful club in European competition history in Real Madrid and the current champions and two-time winners FC Barcelona.

Euro 2008 - UEFA European Football Championship
The 2008 UEFA European Football Championship, commonly referred to as Euro 2008, will take place in Austria and Switzerland, from 7 June to 29 June 2008. It is the second successful joint bid in the competition's history, alongside the 2000 European Football Championship, hosted by Belgium and the Netherlands. Austria and Switzerland will automatically qualify as hosts. The remaining 14 teams will be determined in a qualifying tournament that started in August 2006.
